Ah, the Rive Gauche (or Left Bank) of Paris, famous in the mid-20th century for its intellectual and artistic milieu, where Picasso might have a chin-wag with Ernest Hemingway, or Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir might argue over the finer points of existentialism.

Well that was then and this is now with the new Rive Gauche right here in Manchester, between the Irwell and the Aviva Studios, aka Factory International, and it really is the left bank.

I saw someone eating a croissant around there just last week, so it's definitely worthy of the Rive Gauche Manchester label!
